A century! “Nice to be here? At my age, it’s nice to be anywhere.” ~George Burns
At 100, most people aren’t interested in material gifts so think about ways you can spend time with them instead.
There are 100 cents in a dollar. Maybe look back at what a dollar could buy you when your giftee was born (eg: 50 cents would buy you a man’s shirt or a pound of butter in the 1920’s).
Have a look online for famous people who lived to 100 years or people born in the same year as your giftee (living or not). Print out the list and, if possible, chat with them about what memories they have of those people.
The Roman numeral for 100 is C. Base your gifts around that letter (eg: chicken, cake, candles, charity donation).
The term 100% is often used for giving your all to something. Use this to celebrate 100 years of your giftee giving their all. Use pictures and stories to highlight the event.
100 celcius is when water boils. Give your giftee some nice tea or coffee.
